Adult Program by Dan Buchannan
WILLS & ESTATE PLANNING PRESENTED BY DAN BUCHANAN
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 6:00 PM, ALFRED DICKEY LIBRARY
What is a will and why is it necessary? What are the elements of a valid will? How does a valid will become an invalid will? How do I choose who or what is intended to be benefitted, and in what manner? What is the effect of the death of a beneficiary? Does a will ever need to be revised/amended? Should I have a personal representative and alternate? How do I choose one? What happens if I die without a will?
These are just a few of the questions that Dan will answer.
Over the years Dan has focused his practice in estate planning and administration of estates and trusts. His experience includes many appearances in the district and supreme courts of the state, both as an attorney and as an expert witness in estate and trust cases. He is an experienced presenter at seminars designed for the continuing education of lawyers, trust officers, paralegals and accountants. He has lectured to classes at the University of Jamestown, UND law school and to community groups.
Dan’s class will be held in the lower level conference room at Alfred Dickey Library, 105 3rd St. SE, Jamestown, ND, 58401
