The Friends of the JRVLS was established in the fall of 2016 as a group to support our Library, for example:

​

  • Assist the James River Valley Library System

  • Increase awareness of the importance of the Library to the community

  • Advocate for the renovation and expansion of the Library

  • Raise funds for the renovation and expansion of the Library

  • Assist in children and adult programming

  • Host fundraising events

  • Promote the digital and traditional diversity of services that the Library offers
